The first record from the Southeast area is for Francisici Trubody who was born c1635, presumably in London because his son Johannes was born there. The same applies to Francis c1637, Francis c1639 and to Jacob c1666. They may, however have been born in the Cornwall or Bristol area because the dates fit somewhat. This is followed by the marriage of John Truebody and Alice Kynge in Canterbury on 28th January 1560. Again, where did he come from?

Apart from John c1717 there are a couple of girls getting married in the early 1700's and then there is then a long gap until the records really take off on 17th July 1796 with the marriage of Thomas Trubody to Sarah Muzzard. Entries then continue well into the late 20th century.

The favoured areas in London seem to be Lambeth, Marylebone, Wandsworth and Greenwich.
